PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cake stopper which is attached to or removed from a cake box easily and is suitable for recycling, does not make cake boxes bulky when cake boxes with attached cake stoppers are stacked, retains sufficient fixing strength against water content oozing out of a cake, and can be constructed easily at a low cost. SOLUTION: The cake stopper is fixed to the bottom board of the cake box, and has a stopper portion projecting upward to fix the cake. The cake stopper is equipped with a tabular base 11, a projecting part (locking pin 12) which is projects downward from the base 11, a cramping board 13 which is extended foldably downward from the base 11 and can be engaged with the locking pin 12, a locking projection 15 which projects sideways from the base 11, and a stopper board 16 which is so extended sideways from the base 11 as to be folded upward and has a piece (second piece 16b) that can be engaged with the locking projection 15.
