There is provided a video signal processing device capable of correcting the peripheral light intensity fall shading and dark shading independently from each other and accurately interpolating a correction value of each block from a smaller number of blocks. The video signal processing device includes: an imaging element (2) for imaging an object; a block correction value storage unit (5c) for storing a correction value corresponding to a plurality of blocks constituting an image generated from the imaging element (2); a correction gain interpolation unit (5d) for interpolating a correction value corresponding to a block existing in the periphery of an object pixel contained in an image; a dark shading correction unit (5e) for performing correction of the dark shading corresponding to the image according tot he correction gain calculated by the correction gain interpolation unit (5d); and a peripheral light intensity fall shading correction unit (5f) for performing correction of the peripheral light intensity fall shading for the image according to the correction gain calculated by the correction gain interpolation unit (5d).
