PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer which can carry out stable image recording by performing cleaning or replacement of a joint part with an ink tank of an ink tank loading part at a suitable time, and preventing solidification and clogging of the joint part. SOLUTION: The inkjet printer is equipped with the ink tank 11 which stores ink, the ink tank loading part 12 which has a lid part 15 and the joint part 19 and loads the ink tank 11, an opening and closing sensor 18 which detects the number of opening and closing times of the lid part 15, a recording head 7 which ejects the ink supplied from the ink tank 11, and a display part 25 which notifies that cleaning or replacement of the joint part 19 is necessary when the number of opening and closing times of the lid part 15 detected by the opening and closing sensor 18 becomes not smaller than a predetermined number of times. The lid part 15 becomes open by the insertion of the ink tank 11, and the joint part 19 is connected with the ink tank 11 when the ink tank 11 is loaded. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
