YELLOW TONER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve OHT transparency and to further improve fixing performance so as to attain compatibility with the transparency. SOLUTION: In yellow toner containing at least a binder resin, a colorant and a wax, C.I. Pigment Yellow 74 and C.I. Solvent Yellow 162 are contained, and when a content of the C.I. Pigment Yellow 74 based on 100 parts by mass of the binder resin is represented by X (parts by mass) and a content of the C.I. Solvent Yellow 162 by Y (parts by mass), X is in the range of 1-10, Y is in the range of 0.5-8 and the sum of X and Y is in the range of 2-13, and lightness L*in the powder state satisfies L*>83 and chromaticity b*satisfies 100*<120.
