<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up scanning for coordinate detection, in a touch panel device configured by sensors arranged in a matrix state. <P>SOLUTION: This touch panel device arranged with the sensors 13-24 in the matrix state is provided with an X-coordinate scan range changeover function-equipped P/S conversion part 2, and a Y-direction scan range changeover function-equipped P/S conversion part 8 having a similar configuration.
