PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument device where a dimming member is arranged near a light source for illuminating an instrument from the forward side, has a small number of components, and has high assemblability. SOLUTION: This instrument device comprises a facing member 15 having a cover section 12 that is arranged on the forward side of a tachometer 1 (instrument) and has an opening 11 for determining a visible region of the tachometer 1, and having an erected wall 14 having a projecting window section 13 on the forward side of the cover section 12. This instrument device comprises a dimming member 19 arranged in the window section 13, and a light emitting diode 21 (light source) that is mounted to the dimming member 19 and illuminates the front surface side of the tachometer 1 through the window section 13.
