摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gangway getting-on/off step driving device capable of automatically performing an elevating/lowering operation and a swing-out operation to a shore side of the getting-on/off step. SOLUTION: This driving device 10 drives the getting-on/off step 5 laid from a deck 2 to the shore 3 side. The device 10 is provided with a turning post 21 erected on the deck 2, a turning davit 20 rotated in relation to the turning post 21 to be swung from the deck 2, a turning driving mechanism 30 for driving the turning davit 20, two wire ropes 7 and 8 delivered from a distal end part of the turning davit 20 via each sheave 11 and 12 and connected to the getting-on/off step 5, and two jigger cylinders (winding mechanisms) 13 and 14 for winding the wire ropes 7 and 8. The device 10 drives the elevating/lowering operation of the getting-on/off step 5, the swing-out operation of the step 5 to the shore 3, and a storage/deployment operation of the step 5.
