PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable legless chair used for sitting straight or resting feet, which has a light weight, is folded into a considerably compact storage state, is preferably stored in a bag or handbag. SOLUTION: This legless chair is composed of a seat portion 1 and a seat support portion 2 for supporting the seat portion, both of which are formed of a material having a light weight. The seat support portion is composed of two parallel rectangular plates 21a and 21b, and two side plates 22a and 22b pivoted at both ends of the two rectangular plates and bent inward into an L shape. Two side plates have two states where the side plates are fully bent inward into a folded state and bending portions of the two side plates are stretched, links 25a and 25b are connected between both rectangular plates, and springs for urging the links are provided so as to press and open both the rectangular plates.
