PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus capable of improving the estimation accuracy of the frequency offset. SOLUTION: The radio method comprises quadrature demodulators 2a, 2b, variable gain amplifiers 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, A/C converters (ADC) 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d, AGC units 5a, 5b, DC, offset estimators 6a, 6b, a selector 7, a frequency offset estimator 8, frequency offset compensators 9a, 9b and a demodulator 10. The apparatus detects the DC offset of received signals at each branch and the frequency offset to compensate the distortion, using the receiving signal with a minimum DC offset.
