PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid curable resin composition exhibinting excellent removability from an adjacent coating layer and suitable for an optical fiber upjacket material. SOLUTION: The liquid curable resin composition for an optical fiber upjacket contains (A) 30 to 90 mass% of urethane methacrylate, (B) 1 to 70 mass% of a reactive diluent, (C) 0.1 to 10 mass% of a polymerization initiator and (D) 1 to 50 mass% of a silicone compound having an average molecular weight of 1,500 to 35,000, with respect to the total amount of the components (A), (B) and (C) being 100 mass%.
