<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend seal replacement time and facilitate maintenance by sealing each part by a corresponding seal respectively in a power transmitting shaft provided with both of a bearing support part and a sliding part. <P>SOLUTION: The power transmitting shaft including a rotary shaft 54 and a cylinder shaft 118 fitted on an outer circumference part of the rotary shaft 54 in such a manner that the same can rotate as one body and freely slide is provided. A part of the rotary shaft 54 of the power transmitting shaft is rotatably supported by a bearing housing 60 via bearings 115, 116. A rotary seal 125 is installed on an inner circumference surface in the axial direction cylindrical shaft 118 side of the bearing housing 60. A sliding seal 126 is pressed against the outer circumference surface of the cylindrical shaft 118. A seal retention cylindrical body 130 provided with a seal receiving surface 145 opposing from a radially inward direction and having the rotary seal 125 pressed against the same on the inner circumference surface of the bearing housing 60 and a seal installation surface 146 opposing from a radially outward direction and having the sliding seal 126 installed on the outer circumference surface of the cylindrical shaft 118 is provided on the rotary shaft 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
