PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapping tool capable of performing a pilot hole machining and a screw-thread cutting at the same time, and a screw hole machining method using it. SOLUTION: The tapping tool with a drill bit is equipped with a shank part 13, a cutting blade part 15 extending from the shank part 13, a drill bit 21 provided at the tip end of the cutting blade part 15, and a complete screw thread shaped thread cutting blade 23 which radially projects from the outer peripheral surface of the cutting blade part 15 between the shank part 13 and the drill bit 21. The thread cutting blade 23 is constituted so as to radially project exceeding the most outer end of the drill bit 21. In addition, the rotation around the rotating axis line 17 of the tapping tool with the drill bit 21 and the feed in the direction of the rotating axis line 17 are synchronized, and the tapping tool 11 with the drill bit is advanced by the lead amount of the thread cutting blade 23 in the direction of the rotating axis line 17 every one rotation around the rotating axis line 17.
