PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recharge method which eliminates the need for a filter assembly like a filter or a screen in a recharge well where clogging is not avoidable, and by which the ground water is surely returned without draining even when the amount of pumped water is large. SOLUTION: The recharge method is that a level of the ground water at a required place 1 is lowered by pumping up the ground water from the pumping well 2 and the pumped ground water is poured back into the ground through the recharge well. In the recharge method, a shallow layer part recharge well 3a in which a water pouring part 4 is positioned in the shallow layer part and a deep layer part recharge well 3b in which the water pouring part 4 is positioned in the deep layer part are installed as the recharge wells. The water is poured from the shallow layer part recharge well 3a under a low pressure and from the deep layer part recharge well 3b under a high pressure, whereby the ground water is returned.
