PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively suppressing bitter taste and odor of peptides, as a conventional technique mainly uses a method hiding the bitter taste and the odor with other components and effects caused by the added components are not neglected though methods for reducing the bitter taste and the odor of the functional peptides have been investigated.

SOLUTION: The beverage containing the peptide is produced by adding cyclodextrin to improve the bitter taste and odor.
