PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer for a drive integrated circuit (IC) for driving a spatial light modulator that can meet a desired dynamic slew rate characteristic by controlling current that affects a slew rate. SOLUTION: The buffer includes a first amplifier connected to the output terminal of the digital/analog (D/A) converter of a drive IC, and adapted to receive output voltage of the D/A converter and inversely amplify the output voltage, a second amplifier adapted to again inversely amplify output voltage that has been inversely amplified by the first amplifier, a charging means connected to the output and input terminals of the second amplifier, and adapted to be charged with the output voltage of the first amplifier, and a current control unit connected to the output terminal of the first amplifier and the input terminal of the second amplifier, and adapted to control the output voltage.
