<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deviation or detachment of a glass run consisting of olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer composition and mounted on a door frame of an automobile at a corner part continuous to an upper frame part of the door frame extending diagonally in the vertical direction from a longitudinal frame part of the door frame or a part along the upper frame part of the door frame. <P>SOLUTION: In the glass run for the automobile, the friction resistance against a channel is increased by forming a coating layer of a non-bridging styrene-based thermoplastic elastomer composition on a part in contact with the channel of a base bottom part of the U-shaped section to be fitted to the channel at a part along an upper frame part of a door frame of the glass run for the automobile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
