PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact piezo-electronic resonator housed in a case. SOLUTION: The piezo-electronic resonator has a base (12) with a first fixing region (121), a second region (122) that is not mechanically coupled at a central section and a third region (123) facing the first fixing region and at least two vibrating arms (13a, 13b) extended from the third region. In the piezoelectronic resonator, at least one of trenches (141a to 144a and 141b to 144b) are formed on at least one surfaces of the top faces and the undersides of each vibrating arm, and the base has an opening (15) that penetrates the second region (122).
