PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion type power tool, realizing an increase in the rate of air flow caused by rotation of a fan to efficiently cool a cylinder or the like by setting an optimum position of a fan. SOLUTION: The fan 19 is disposed so that the central part (the line A) of the fan 19 in the direction of a rotating shaft is positioned on the push lever 9 side from a connecting part 10B1, and the end part (the line B) on the head cap 11 side of the fan 19 in the direction of the rotating shaft is aligned with the connecting part 10B1 or positioned on the head cap 11 side from the connecting part 10B1.
