PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access control method, a disc control device, and a storage device allowing data access when no competition is caused between access areas even if cache segments compete mutually and performing parallel access processing for improvement in access performance. SOLUTION: In this access control method for a cache memory divided into cache segment units, access is allowed when the access areas have no overlapping part even if a cache segment accessed by an access command competes with a cache segment being accessed.
