PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for carrying capable of easily identifying from outside whether an article remains or not in the container stacked up and down under a nesting condition. SOLUTION: In the container for carrying, when the container body 10a of the upper step is reversely turned by 180°to the container main body 10a of the lower step and stacked thereon by the other direction, supporting leg parts of the upper level container body 10a enter into pocket parts 32, 34, 38 and 40 of the lower level container body. The container for carrying is characterized by that when a number of openings 50 are arranged on approximately all regions of the side walls such as a pair of long side walls 14 and 16 and a pair of short side walls 12 and 18 of the container body, and when the container body 10a of the upper step is stacked on the container body 10a of the lower step so that the back in the up and down direction becomes low, on the superposed region of the lower half part of the container main body 10a of the upper step and the upper half part of the container main body 10a of the lower step, the openings 50 through which the internal situation can be visually recognized are formed so as to coincide with each other.
