PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material which has good compatibility while having a plurality of properties, ensures biodegradability, enables deformation processing after being molded as a sheet, and very rarely causes the so-called whitening phenomenon. SOLUTION: The sheet material has three components of a polylactic acid, a flexible polyester, and an intermediate copolymer as the essential components, and the flexible polyester as such has a biodegradability and an elongation in the tensile properties of 15-1,000%, and the intermediate copolymer has components chemically similar to the constituting components for constituting the flexible polyester and lactic acid as its constituting components and has good compatibility with the polylactic acid and the flexible polyester.
