The telecommunications apparatus ( 1 ) and the data processing system ( 2 ) are linked together by a data transmitting link ( 15 ) and are equipped so that by activating one of the absence assistants ( 3, 4 ) the other absence assistant ( 4, 3 ) is automatically activated.
