<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white balancer capable of realizing a proper white balance processing depending upon no skin of a human being, an imaging device, a method for processing a white balance and a program. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device has an imaging element 101, a specific-section detecting section 106, a memory 107, a picture-element decision section 108 and a white-balance processing section 109. The specific-section detecting section 106 detects the picture elements of the skin color section of a subject in the picture sensing element 101 with the picture sensing of the subject. The picture-element decision section 108 decides whether or not each picture element excepting the picture elements detected as the skin color section of the subject in the picture sensing element 101 by the specific-section detecting section 106 is white. The white-balance processing section 109 computes the color-temperature information of a light source in the case of a photographing on the basis of the color evaluating value of the picture elements decided as a white by the picture-element decision section 108, and computes a white-balance coefficient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
