PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify user's operations for registering communication equipment. SOLUTION: For establishing a communication connection, the short-distance wireless communication CPU 14 of master equipment 10 inputs identification information unique to slave equipment 20 according to user's operations for an operation input part 19 and stores it in an EEPROM 17 when the slave equipment 20 is registered to the master equipment 10, sends out an instruction for sending the identification information stored in the EEPROM 27 of the slave equipment 20, and receives identification information from the slave equipment 20 as a reply to the instruction to obtain two pieces of the identification information acquired through the user's operations and stored in the EEPROM 17 and the identification information received from the slave equipment 20. Then the short-distance communication CPU 14 compares the identification information stored in the EEPROM 17 with the identification information received from the slave equipment 20 and registers the slave equipment 20 when they match each other.
