PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively detect half-setting of a refill. SOLUTION: This staple cartridge A includes: a cartridge body 1; and the refill 2 storing connected staples a, wherein the refill 2 is replaceably mounted. A guide part 7 for guiding the connected staples in the refill to a projecting part is provided between a refill mounting part 5 and a stable projecting part 6. A first actuator 11 operated in response to the presence/absence of the connected staples a in the refill mounting part and a second actuator 12 operated in response to the presence/absence of the connected staples in the guide part are disposed below the refill mounting part 5 and the guide part 7, respectively, and the first actuator 11 and the second actuator 12 are interlocked with each other.
