<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip and its mounting structure in which water entering a cabin can be efficiently treated by a simple method, and irregularities are hardly generated in the corner part without reforming at the corner part. <P>SOLUTION: In the weather strip 4 mounted on a stay 2 joined with the in-cabin surface side of a sun roof lid 3, and elastically brought into contact with a body 1 for sealing when a sun roof S is closed, at least one through hole 7 is formed in a part of a solid rubber base part 4b to be fitted and retained to the stay 2, and the through hole 7 can be retained with a predetermined angle of inclination to the perpendicular line.
