FIELD: hydraulic equipment, particularly flat, segmented and other gates adapted for hydraulic structure opening closing in circumstances characterized by negative temperatures and high pressure heads. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves installing elastic guiding member between gate to be arranged at opening and embedded part connected to hydraulic structure; filling control chamber, which controls position of sealing member, with liquid having freezing temperature lower than minimal ambient air temperature and connected to expansion tank by pipeline; connecting gas cavity of expansion tank with pressure regulation system, which regulates pressure of air or other gas inside expansion tank; supplying pressurized air or other gas from remote pressure source, for instance from compressor to create necessary pressure in gas cavity of expansion tank. ^ EFFECT: increased operational reliability under low temperatures and high pressure heads. ^ 2 dwg |
