PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas engine device suitable for utilizing fuel gas having no large change in combustion chemical equivalent value. SOLUTION: A gas engine device is equipped with a gas engine 1 driven by fuel gas having tendency of a fluctuation of a combustion chemical equivalent value, a mixture supply passage 2 for supplying an air-fuel mixture to the gas engine 1, a flow valve 3 which can adjust a flow rate of the air-fuel mixture supplied to the gas engine 1 provided to the mixture supply passage 2, and a fuel gas passage 4 for supplying fuel gas to the mixture supply passage 2. The fuel gas passage 4 is provided with a fuel valve 8 for controlling a flow rate of fuel gas per unit time. A control means 5 reduces an opening of the fuel valve 8 when the engine output is increased while increasing an opening of the fuel valve 8 when the engine output is reduced.
