PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for press molding where molding failure such as a protrusion of a material outside from the molding space is prevented, a press molding method using the die, and a press molding apparatus equipped with the die. SOLUTION: The die 1 for press molding is equipped with an upper die 2 and a lower die 3 and a material 15 is shaped by bringing the upper die 2 into contact with the lower die 3. The upper die 2 has an outer frame plate 11 and a center pin 10. After the outer frame plate 11 and the lower die 3 are brought into contact, the material 15 is pressed by the center pin 10 to be shaped. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
