PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress vibration sound when a portable telephone is set so as to be vibrated at the time of receiving an incoming call. SOLUTION: If an incoming call vibrator is turned on (YES at a step 52) at the time of receiving an incoming call, a vibrator device is driven (a step 53), and the portable telephone is vibrated. The vibration sound is detected by a microphone (a step 49). When the vibration sound exceeds a prescribed level (YES at a step 55), the driving of the vibrator device is stopped (a step 56).
