PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform operating instructions of starting of imaging, pausing of the imaging and stopping of the imaging by a single depression switch. SOLUTION: An animation imaging apparatus 1 includes a depression type imaging button 5a in an operating unit 5. The depression detector 5d of the operating unit 5 detects that the imaging button 5a is depressed to the half of the depression stroke (half depression) and depressed to a stroke end (full depression), and transmits the detected contents to a system controller 16. The system controller 16 controls to pause the imaging when the effect that the half depression is performed, is sent during the imaging, and controls to stop the imaging when the effect that the full depression is performed, is sent during the imaging.
