摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the rolling of a vehicle by individually controlling the driving torques of four wheels. <P>SOLUTION: This posture controlling device suspension devices Sfl, Srl, Sfr and Srr which respectively suspend front, rear, right and left wheels Wfl, Wrl, Wfr and Wrr, electric motors 21 to 24 which individually drive the four wheels, a lateral direction acceleration sensor 31, and a controller 32. The controller 32 calculates a roll angle and a roll direction of a car body BD from a detected lateral direction acceleration. Also, the controller 32 increases/decreases the driving torques to the four wheels by a driving torque alteration portion in response to the calculated roll angle and roll direction. By the increase/decrease by the driving torque alteration portion to respective front and rear wheels, a downward force is generated on the car body on the lifted side when the vehicle rolls (the center of respective moments being specified by a suspension device on the lifted side), and an upward force is generated on the lowered side of the car body (the center of respective moments being specified by the suspension device on the lowered side). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
