PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminator capable of finely finishing the lamination treatment to a medium to be recorded by manual work without using a tool or the like even if enjoyment for performing the finish treatment of lamination treatment is imparted to a consumer. SOLUTION: The laminator for forming a laminate layer to the recording surface of the medium to be recorded is equipped with a laminate material supply part for longitudinally supplying a long sheetlike laminate material wherein a sheetlike base material is laminated on the laminate layer in a releasable manner, a medium-to-be recorded supply part for successively supplying a plurality of recording media, a pressure bonding part for bonding the laminate layer to the medium to be recorded and a means to be transferred under heating and pressure, in a state that the medium to be recorded supplied from the medium-to-be-recorded supply part is interposed between the laminate material supplied from the laminate material supply part and the means to be transferred receiving the transfer of the laminate layer, to feed out the formed laminate to a downstream side and a cutting part for cutting the medium to be recorded of the laminate.
