<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch key whose sensitivity, which varies depending on the environment where the device is installed or the using state of a user, can be adjusted to be optimum by the user. <P>SOLUTION: The touch key comprises a plate part 1 comprising an electrical insulator, a capacitance detecting part which detects that the capacitance value varies when a user comes in contact with the plate part 1, and a reaction processing part which performs reaction processing supposing that the user comes in contact with the plate part 1 in the case where the variation in the capacitance value detected by the capacitance detecting part is larger than a predetermined value. The predetermined value for the reaction processing part can be adjusted, and thus can be adjusted to the predetermined value in accordance with the feeling of the user, i.e., the sensitivity of the touch key. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
