PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for managing a plurality of communication devices in an access network. SOLUTION: Each communication device of the plurality of communication devices is coupled to a management server via an access unit. This method comprises a step where an access unit successively establishes temporary point-to-point connection from the management server to each of the communication devices during a communication device management phase. The method further comprises a step where the management server manages corresponding communication devices CD of the plurality of communication devices based on a terminal identifier of the device CD, in establishing each of the temporary point-to-point connection between the management server and the corresponding communication devices of the plurality of communication devices.
