PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a Nageshi (a horizontal timber piece) and its peripheral member suitable for partitioning two spaces of a Japanese-style room and a European-style room while giving continuity. SOLUTION: Horizonal timber pieces 14, 14 are disposed in a suspended state with a predetermined space, and an opening for communicating the partitioned spaces is formed above the horizontal timber pieces 14, 14. A support rail 17 is suspended from the ceiling 25 by a suspension column 15 with a predetermined length, and a head jamb 18 is fixed to the lower part of the support rail 17. Decorative plates are then mounted to both side faces to form the horizontal timber pieces 14, 14. Pilasters 13, 13 of decorative plate shape are mounted to both end lower parts of the horizontal timber pieces 14, 14 and at both lower ends of the head jamb 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
