PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rubber adhesiveness during the grommet of a bead wire for a tire. SOLUTION: Water rinsing is performed in a water rinsing tank in which the water level is set to an excessive value from the conventional general standard as the treatment after the plating so that Fe concentration on the outermost plating surface measured by ESCA is controlled to be≤5.0 AC%, and the pH value in the water rinsing tank is controlled to be≥6.5 (in a pH controlling step 6). It is suppressed that iron hydroxide as an intermediate product of the substitution reaction is reacted with water and changed into iron oxide, or iron hydroxide itself is removed to consistently obtain a bead wire having excellent rubber adhesiveness.
