A decorative vase is made of a band of a flexible material and has two sidewalls, a neck and a bottom. The sidewalls of the vase are made by two areas, which are elongated as a whole, of the band of the flexible material, attached one to another, thebutt ends of which are hermetically connected between each other by means of thermojunctions forming the end joint. The lower ends of the sidewalls are connected between each other with the aid of the bottom, and the upper free ends of the sidewalls make the neck of the vase.
