PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving terminal which can easily distinguish a scene which a televiewer does not want to overlook and a scene not wanted to be looked especially, and can exactly see a desired scene. SOLUTION: The receiving terminal is provided with an antenna 11 which receives signals for broadcasting, a character extracting part (14, 31) which extract character information such as caption information, a BML (Broadcasting Markup Language) document, etc. from the received signal, a condition checking part 32 which discriminates whether the character information satisfies a reporting condition (30) or not, and reporting parts (34, 21) which perform predetermined reporting operations when the condition checking part 32 discriminates that the reporting condition is satisfied.
