PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a brush holder to a motor base via an elastic support and also to prevent the dislocation of the brush holder, in an electric motor. SOLUTION: In this electric motor 30, the brush holder 33 is supported by a motor base 32 via the elastic support 70, and also it is provided with a positioning pin 90 which positions the brush holder 33 to the motor base 32 so as to align the center axis 33A of the brush holder 33 with the center axis 40A of a motor rotating shaft 40.
