FIELD: manufacture of brace of brush of windshield wiper having -shaped cross section and two through openings for passing rivet in flanges. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making in flat blank of brace through openings and placing in one opening non-closed up rivet; bending flat blank for forming flanges of its -shaped cross section; at bending process placing non-closed up rivet in position for passing in two through openings; then riveting it. Apparatus for performing the method includes bending attachment, positioning attachment for moving non-closed up rivet and deforming attachment for plastic deforming.
