RESOURCE SELECTION SYSTEM, RESOURCE SELECTION PROCESSING DEVICE, RESOURCE SELECTION PROGRAM, AND RESOURCE SELECTION PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide selection of resources which can be presented by an application used by a user in adaptation to knowledge and interest of the user with respect to the resources.

SOLUTION: When the user starts to use the application of a server 3 from a user terminal 1, a user ontology server 2 transfers user ontology of the user to the user terminal 1. A resource selector 10 selects a resource on the basis of the user ontology, a list of resources created by the application, and a strategy of resource selection. An ontology manager 18 constructs the user ontology in accordance with the selected resource and operation of the user. When application use is finished, the use ontology server 2 receives the user ontology from the user terminal 1, and saves it until the next usage request.
