<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of curls or wrinkles even in the case of excessive heating by an erasing means in continuously printing a large amount of sheets, and to reduce cost dispensing with a special treatment subjected to a reversible heat-sensitive recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The reversible heat-sensitive recording medium 2 is given erasing heat by the erasing means 15 to erase an image. The recording medium 2 with the image erased is carried by a carrier guide member 50 prior to arriving at an image forming means 18 having a thermal head 30.
