PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make practical a reduction effect of an exposure dose by a wedge filter . SOLUTION: The apparatus of this invention includes a frame 1 having an X-ray tube 10 which can rotate around an examinee and an X-ray detector 23, a bed 2 having a top board 2a which can move along two axes which intersect a rotary shaft of the X-ray tube at right angles, a display section 38 to display a sectional image of the examinee, an operation section 39 for assigning a point at an arbitrary position on the sectional image, and a controlling section 30 which controls the movement of the top board 2a on the basis of a deviation between a position of the assigned point and a position of the rotation shaft of the X-ray tube in the directions of the two axes.
