<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order input device that facilitates handling and facilitates an order input by enabling a two-handed operation owing to a portable type usable in a horizontal position, and provide an order entry system for a restaurant that uses the order input device. <P>SOLUTION: The order input device for a restaurant has a broad rectangular box form, and comprises a touch panel type display part and an input part on a top surface.
