PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internet terminal system for a task, to be used for reservation terminal equipment or the like for minimizing freeze, and for preventing the possibility of virus penetration, and for increasing convenience, and for preventing reduction of merchandise values, and to provide terminal equipment to be used for this system. SOLUTION: This internet terminal system for a task is configured by connecting a server which performs task management and terminal equipment which performs each input/output operation to the Internet for making the server perform integral generalization, and for making each terminal perform individual processing. A specially made computer, including a programmable controller with the minimum freeze, is arranged as the terminal equipment, and a protocol converting unit which is to be an interface between serial communication and communication by an HTTP protocol, is arranged between the specially made computer and the Internet.
