PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which ensures less unevenness in shape among toner particles, has excellent mechanical stability in toner particles, and is environmentally friendly because crumble (resolvent) of toner particles is hardly produced even in a manufacturing process such as a classification process. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a method for manufacturing the toner using a liquid containing the constituent materials of the toner, wherein a first liquid containing a dispersoid consisting mainly of a binder resin and a second liquid consisting of an adhesive-resin-containing material are used as the above liquid, and the method includes a step in which the first and second liquids are atomized by discharge from different discharge openings and solidified under conveyance in a solidification section to obtain particulate bodies in which the binder resin and adhesive resin are present as a phase separated structure.
