PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl file for documents which can save a necessary material by forming a holding piece for preventing filed documents from easily falling by cutting the back sheet itself and improves the expediency of a user by enabling the kind of the filed document to be directly entered in a tongue piece formed at the right end part of the back sheet. SOLUTION: In this vinyl file for documents, the whole lower half part and a part of the upper half part of the vinyl file are or the whole lower half part only is laminated by heat welding in such a state that the file is folded distinguishably in halves as the face sheet part 100 and the back sheet part 200 of the file. In addition, a finger insertion slot 120 is formed on the right end part 110 of the face sheet part 100 and a tongue piece 210 is formed on the right end part 110 of the back sheet part 200 in such a way that the tongue piece 210 juts out of the right end part 110 of the face sheet part 100. Further, the holding piece 220 for keeping the right end part 110 of the face sheet part 100, is formed in one piece with the back sheet part 200 by cutting a specified part of the back sheet part 200.
