METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOLDING ENDLESS BELT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method for an endless belt forming no air bubbles in a belt slab held to a high temperature state at the time of transfer from a vulcanizing/molding process to a cooling process, and a molding apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: The molding method for the endless belt has a vulcanizing/molding process for applying holding pressure to a belt material containing an unvulcanized rubber in the thickness direction thereof by an outer mold 1 or an inner mold 2 and a movable rubber jacket 4 while heating the belt material by the heat transferred from at least one of the outer mold 1 and the inner mold 2 to vulcanize and mold the belt slab and the cooling process for cooling the belt slab held to a high temperature state by lowering the temperature of one of the outer mold 1 and the inner mold 2 while applying the holding pressure due to the outer mold 1 or the inner mold 2 and the movable rubber jacket 4.
