<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode substrate for a dye-sensitized solar cell which has a high photoelectric conversion efficiency and in which the dye-sensitized solar cell with suppressed aging drop of its performance is obtained easily at a low cost in the electrode substrate for the dye-sensitized solar cell using a transparent resin film as a substrate material. <P>SOLUTION: In manufacturing the electrode substrate 20 for the dye-sensitized solar cell formed on the transparent resin film 1, the transparent electrode 10 includes: the first conductive layer 6 of a metal appearing the shape in combination with many fine wires; a corrosion preventive layer 7 formed of electrolytic plating or electroless plating to cover at least the outer surface of the first conductive layer; and a second conductive layer 8 made of a metal covering the corrosion preventive layer.
